This book is great. I think it has a compelling story and historical context. The most attractive part about the book is the validity of the story, and the personal appeal of each character. Zuckoff builds each character's personality so thoroughly that the reader can emotionally attach to the character, which only adds to the essence of the historical and true story behind it. What do you guys like the most?
I personally, enjoy learning about the history of WACs and the starts of women's involvement in the United States military. I've ready many books that include war stories but never one including the story of a woman. It is very interesting to read about a woman's experience in the army during that time. It must have been very difficult for her
ReplyDeleteI like the struggles that they are going through after the crash. Reading about how people can live and travel in those conditions, physically and regarding their surrounding. Makes you wonder how you would do in the wild too
